We've set up our SUWICI team for this years American Cancer Society Relay for Life! Now all we need is for our beloved members to join! (Amy doesn't want to be all alone!)

EVENTS: Advanced Screening of "Frost/Nixon"

Directed by Ron Howard, “Frost/Nixon” explores the story behind journalist David Frost’s 1977 interview of former president Richard Nixon—the first interview Nixon had granted since resigning from the presidency three years earlier. The film is billed as “the untold story of the historic encounter that changed the relationship between journalism and politics forever.”

Tony Award winner Frank Langella ’59 plays Nixon, and Michael Sheen plays Frost. The screenplay was written by Peter Morgan. Associate producer William M. Connor ’89 will introduce the film and take part in a question-and-answer session following the screening.

EVENTS: Ed2010: 1st Annual "Ed on Campus Conference"

April 2 - 5, 2009

Applications due by December 15!

Ed2010 is bringing college students from across the country together for a four-day conference.

Apply and and you will:
—Attend panels and workshops on how to break into all areas of magazine publishing (including fashion/beauty, celebrity, food and lifestyle, web, and more); plus how to ace an edit test and live in NYC for cheap.
—Meet human resources reps from the major NYC publishing houses
—Tour the offices of NYC consumer magazines
—Participate in one-on-one resume critique/mock interviews from magazine editors
—Network with editors, the Ed2010 staff and other college students at special events
—Get paired with a NYC Ed host to help you navigate the city and plan your trip.

Raytheon CLCP is a two-year program providing an accelerated professional development career path in communications. Along with on-the-job training, the program provides a unique opportunity for individual mentoring, and learning tailored to your needs.

The Communications track provides communicators with the opportunity to learn about the full range of communications disciplines including internal communications, executive communications, media relations, advertising and community relations. The learning is supported by a team of communication professionals with wide-ranging and deep communications experience.
